Quentin Beck, portrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal, appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Mysterio.

A disgruntled former Stark Industries holographic illusions specialist, Beck masterminded an elaborate scheme to deceive the world into believing he was a superhero from another dimension. He fabricated stories of battling "Elementals" and used advanced drone technology and illusions to simulate superhuman abilities.

Appearing in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Mysterio manipulated Spider-Man, leveraging the young hero's grief and desire to live up to Tony Stark's legacy. He initially presented himself as a trustworthy ally. His plan was ultimately revealed by Spider-Man, though Beck's final act was to frame Spider-Man for his 'murder' and reveal Spider-Man's true identity to the world.
