The Lollipop Guild is a trio of diminutive characters featured in the 1939 film, The Wizard of Oz. They are Munchkins, residents of Munchkinland, and they famously welcome Dorothy Gale upon her arrival in Oz.
The three Munchkins who comprise the Lollipop Guild are credited by the colors of the lollipops they present to Dorothy: the first Munchkin, played by Jerry Maren, presents a red lollipop; the second, played by Billy Curtis, offers a green one; and the third, played by Harry Earles, gives Dorothy a blue lollipop.
Their brief but memorable performance involves singing a short song, "We represent the Lullipop Guild," and formally welcoming Dorothy for defeating the Wicked Witch of the East. Their appearance is one of the most iconic moments of the film and has cemented the Lollipop Guild in popular culture.
