Robert Callaghan is the primary antagonist in Disney's animated film, Big Hero 6. He is a professor at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, specializing in robotics and engineering, and previously served as Tadashi Hamada's mentor. He's portrayed as initially kind and supportive to students.

Callaghan's true motive is revenge. He seeks to avenge the supposed death of his daughter, Abigail, who was lost in a teleportation experiment funded by Krei Tech. Callaghan blames Alistair Krei for the incident, believing him to be negligent in his oversight of the technology.

He orchestrates a series of events, including stealing Hiro Hamada's microbots, in order to build a powerful force field and attack Krei. Callaghan uses the stolen technology to become Yokai, a masked villain with control over the microbots, and almost succeeds in destroying Krei's headquarters.

Ultimately, Callaghan is stopped by Hiro and Baymax, who understand the importance of forgiveness and saving those in need. His plan is foiled, and he is apprehended for his crimes.
