Robert Callaghan, first appearing in Disney's animated film Big Hero 6 (2014), is initially presented as a respected professor at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology.
He leads the robotics program where Hiro Hamada eventually enrolls. However, Callaghan's true identity is revealed to be the villain Yokai.
Driven by vengeance for the loss of his daughter in a teleportation experiment gone wrong, Callaghan uses advanced microbots to enact his plan, threatening the city of San Fransokyo.
