Garfield "Gar" Logan, known as Beast Boy, is a metahuman superhero. His origin stems from a childhood illness contracted while on a family expedition in Africa. The experimental serum used to cure him had the unintended side effect of granting him the ability to transform into any animal he sees.

After losing his parents, Gar bounced between foster homes and initially became associated with the Doom Patrol. He eventually joined the Teen Titans, forming close bonds with his teammates and becoming known for his lighthearted personality and comedic relief, often using his powers in creative and humorous ways.

As a Titan, Beast Boy has demonstrated considerable skill in combat, utilizing his transformations to gain advantages in strength, speed, and agility. He struggles to control his transformations when stressed, and the psychological trauma of his past often resurfaces. Despite these challenges, Beast Boy remains a devoted hero and a loyal friend to his teammates.
