Temple Fugate, better known as the Clock King, is a villain from DC Comics, most famously appearing in Batman: The Animated Series. Introduced in the episode "The Clock King," Fugate is an efficiency expert whose life is meticulously planned according to a rigid schedule.

Fugate's transformation into a criminal stems from a chance encounter with Mayor Hamilton Hill. During a consultation, Hill's dismissive attitude throws Fugate off his schedule, leading to a series of increasingly unfortunate events. He loses his job and descends into madness, blaming Hill for ruining his life.

Driven by revenge, Fugate adopts the persona of the Clock King, a themed criminal mastermind who uses his obsessive planning and knowledge of time to commit crimes and torment Hill. He wears a distinctive clock-themed suit and utilizes gadgets related to time and precision.

Unlike many of Batman's rogues, the Clock King possesses no superpowers. His strength lies in his meticulous preparation, strategic thinking, and understanding of schedules and routines, making him a unique and challenging adversary for Batman. While primarily associated with Batman, the Clock King has also appeared in other DC media, cementing his status as a notable villain.
