Jean-Paul Beaubier, better known as Northstar, is a mutant superhero appearing in Marvel Comics. He is known for being one of the first openly gay superheroes in mainstream comics. He is the twin brother of Aurora (Jeanne-Marie Beaubier), and both were separated at a young age after their parents' deaths.
Northstar's mutant abilities include superhuman speed, flight, and the ability to generate and project beams of light.
