Steven Rogers, born in Brooklyn, New York, was a frail young man determined to serve his country during World War II. Rejected due to his numerous health problems, he volunteered for a top-secret Super-Soldier program.
The program transformed him into Captain America, a physically perfect specimen endowed with enhanced strength, agility, and endurance. Armed with an indestructible shield, he became a symbol of hope and freedom, leading the charge against the Nazi forces and Hydra.
Presumed dead after a mission gone wrong, Captain America was frozen in ice for nearly seventy years. Revived in the 21st century, he struggled to adapt to a changed world but ultimately joined the Avengers, a team of extraordinary individuals dedicated to protecting Earth.

He chose to remain in the past, living a full life with Peggy Carter. He returned to the present as an elderly man, passing his shield and the mantle of Captain America to Sam Wilson.
