Biography:
Daredevil, also known as Matt Murdock, first appeared in Daredevil #1 in April 1964 from Marvel Comics. Matt Murdock was blinded as a child in an accident involving radioactive material.
Although he lost his sight, the radioactive exposure heightened his other senses to superhuman levels, granting him a "radar sense" that allows him to perceive his surroundings. Driven by his father's murder, a boxer killed for refusing to throw a fight, Matt becomes a lawyer by day.
Using his enhanced abilities, he fights crime at night as the costumed vigilante Daredevil, protecting the citizens of Hell's Kitchen.
