Biography:
Brock Rumlow, portrayed by Frank Grillo, is Crossbones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He is a vengeful operative who first appeared in *Captain America: The Winter Soldier* as a STRIKE team leader loyal to Alexander Pierce.
Following the downfall of S.H.I.E.L.D. and exposure of HYDRA's infiltration, Rumlow resurfaced in *Captain America: Civil War* as Crossbones. He led a mercenary team in an attempt to steal a biological weapon in Lagos, Nigeria, leading to a confrontation with Captain America and the Avengers.
During this battle, Crossbones attempted to eliminate Captain America with a suicide bombing, but his attack was contained by Wanda Maximoff, resulting in his death. His actions in Lagos contributed to the Sokovia Accords and the fracturing of the Avengers.
