Rocko is the titular character of the Nickelodeon animated series, "Rocko's Modern Life," which aired from 1993 to 1996, and its revival movie, "Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling" (2019). He is a wallaby who emigrated from Australia to O-Town, a fictional city in the United States.

Rocko is generally depicted as a kind, well-meaning, but often naive and anxious individual. He struggles to adapt to the absurdities and challenges of modern life, often finding himself caught in bizarre and humorous situations. His personality is characterized by his politeness, loyalty to his friends, and desire to do the right thing, even when faced with overwhelming circumstances.

Rocko lives with his loyal but dim-witted dog, Spunky, and often interacts with his eccentric neighbors, Heffer Wolfe, a steer, and Filburt Turtle, a neurotic turtle. The show uses Rocko's experiences to satirize various aspects of contemporary American culture, including consumerism, environmental issues, and social anxieties.
