Biography:
Beric Dondarrion is a character from the HBO television series Game of Thrones, adapted from George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels.
He first appears in season 1, episode 6, "A Golden Crown," as a lord dispatched by Eddard Stark to bring Gregor Clegane to justice for his crimes in the Riverlands.
However, Dondarrion's story takes a dramatic turn as he is repeatedly killed in battle and resurrected by Thoros of Myr, a Red Priest of R'hllor. Each resurrection diminishes Beric, slowly stripping away his memories and sense of self, leading him to dedicate his life to the service of the Lord of Light.
As the leader of the Brotherhood Without Banners, his primary mission becomes defending the innocent. This path ultimately leads him to an alliance with Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen to fight the Army of the Dead.
