Biography:

Rex, a central character in the Toy Story franchise, is a plastic Tyrannosaurus Rex toy. He is characterized by his anxieties and insecurities, despite his imposing dinosaur form.

Voiced by Wallace Shawn, Rex's defining trait is his fear of not being scary enough, often questioning his own roar and worrying about his role as a "terrifying" dinosaur. He struggles with self-doubt, but deeply cares about his friends and is always willing to help.

Rex first appeared in the original Toy Story (1995), quickly establishing himself as a lovable, albeit neurotic, member of Andy's toy gang.
