Biography:

Rex, also known as PG-8222, is a central character in the Disney/Pixar Toy Story franchise. He is a green Tyrannosaurus Rex toy, but ironically, he is portrayed as anxious and insecure about his ferocity.

Rex first appears in the film Toy Story (1995). He is voiced by Wallace Shawn throughout the series.

Despite his intended image as a fearsome dinosaur, Rex is gentle and kind-hearted. He often worries about not being scary enough, fearing he doesn't live up to his dinosaur archetype. This insecurity is a key part of his personality and drives much of his comedic interactions within the toy group.
