Carol Danvers, portrayed by Brie Larson, is Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She is a former U.S. Air Force pilot who, through an encounter with alien technology, gained superhuman abilities, including flight, energy projection, and enhanced strength and durability.
In the MCU, Danvers is initially allied with the Kree Starforce, believing she is a Kree warrior named Vers. However, she eventually discovers her Earth origins and the true nature of the Kree-Skrull conflict, choosing to protect Earth and ally with the Skrulls.
