Biography:
Slade Wilson, also known as Deathstroke, is a prominent antagonist and anti-hero within the Arrowverse, portrayed by Manu Bennett. He first appeared in the CW's *Arrow* in the episode "Lone Gunmen" (Season 1, Episode 5).
Wilson is introduced as a friend and mentor to Oliver Queen during their time on Lian Yu. He is a former Australian Secret Intelligence Service (ASIS) operative who was stranded on the island years prior. During his time there, he was subjected to the Mirakuru serum, granting him enhanced strength, speed, and healing abilities, but also mental instability.
After being rescued, Wilson's mental state deteriorates due to the Mirakuru, leading him to become the mercenary Deathstroke. Fueled by a warped sense of justice and a desire for revenge against Oliver, he becomes a formidable adversary, utilizing his military training, tactical brilliance, and enhanced physiology to wreak havoc on Starling City. His motivations become increasingly erratic as the series progresses, often aligning him with different sides in various conflicts.
