T'Challa, known as Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is the King of Wakanda, a technologically advanced African nation hidden from the world. He first appeared in *Captain America: Civil War*.
After his father, King T'Chaka, is killed in a bombing, T'Challa assumes the throne and the mantle of Black Panther. He possesses enhanced strength, speed, and agility thanks to the Heart-Shaped Herb, a plant unique to Wakanda. His suit is made of vibranium, a rare and powerful metal, providing him with near-invulnerability.
