Mon-El, portrayed by Chris Wood, is a character in The CW's "Arrowverse," primarily appearing in the TV show, Supergirl. He debuted in the second season premiere, "The Adventures of Supergirl" (2016).
Mon-El hails from Daxam, a planet whose inhabitants are similar to Kryptonians but vulnerable to lead. He arrived on Earth in a Kryptonian pod. Initially, he hides his Daxamite identity, leading Supergirl and others to believe he's from Krypton. His real name is revealed as Prince of Daxam.
His storyline involves a complex relationship with Supergirl, grappling with his privileged background and learning to become a hero. He eventually returns to his own time, before reappearing later in the series.
