Biography:
Kamen Rider Ichigou, originally known as Takeshi Hongo, is the protagonist of the original Kamen Rider television series. His first appearance was in episode 1 of the series, which aired in 1971.
Hongo was a biochemistry student kidnapped by the evil organization, Shocker. Shocker transformed him into a cyborg soldier, a powerful being intended to serve their global domination plans. However, before his brainwashing could be completed, he was rescued by Professor Midorikawa.
Escaping Shocker's clutches, Hongo utilized his newfound powers to fight against them, becoming Kamen Rider. He dedicated his life to protecting humanity from Shocker's monstrous creations, battling alongside later Kamen Riders such as Kamen Rider Nigou.
