Biography:

M.O.D.O.K., short for Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing, is a supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics.

Originally, George Tarleton was a technician for Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M.). He was subjected to a mutagenic process to enhance his intelligence for research purposes. The experiment drastically altered his physical form, enlarging his head and granting him vast intellect and psionic powers at the cost of his mobility.

M.O.D.O.K. first appeared in *Tales of Suspense* #93 (September 1967). He quickly usurped control of A.I.M., using his newfound abilities for world domination and violent schemes, becoming a frequent foe of Captain America and other Marvel heroes.
