Ezra Bridger is a Force-sensitive human character from the animated TV show Star Wars Rebels, which marks his first appearance. Orphaned at a young age on the planet Lothal, Ezra lived as a street urchin, relying on his wits and natural abilities to survive within the oppressive Galactic Empire's regime.

His life changed drastically when he encountered the crew of the starship Ghost, a small rebel cell led by Kanan Jarrus. Recognizing Ezra's latent Force abilities, Kanan took him on as his Padawan, initiating his training in the ways of the Jedi.

Over the course of Rebels, Ezra matures from a street-smart kid into a capable Jedi Knight, playing a key role in the burgeoning Rebel Alliance. He uses the Force and the unique skills he has developed during his time as a street urchin to fight against the Empire, help those in need, and grow as a person. He also learns to connect to different animals through the Force. At the end of the TV series, he sacrifices himself to protect his friends and disappears into hyperspace along with Grand Admiral Thrawn.
