Green Loontern is a comedic iteration of Green Lantern, originating within Warner Bros. animation.
This version, primarily voiced by Joe Alaskey, is actually Daffy Duck in disguise. He often appears when Daffy, as Duck Dodgers, stumbles into possession of a Green Lantern ring.
He first appeared in the 2003 Duck Dodgers cartoon episode, "The Green Loontern", which parodies the Green Lantern Corps. He also appears in Lego Batman Beyond Gotham and is referred to as Emerald Duck in some context.
Green Loontern retains Daffy Duck's characteristic ego and ineptitude, resulting in humorous, often disastrous, attempts at heroism. He's a one-off gag character meant to parody the Green Lantern mantle.
