Biography:
Chato Santana, known as El Diablo, is a DC Comics character who gained prominence through his portrayal in the Suicide Squad movie (2016). His first appearance was in Suicide Squad film.
Santana, played by Jay Hernandez, is depicted as a former gang member with the metahuman ability to generate and control fire. He is deeply remorseful for the damage his powers have caused, particularly the accidental death of his family.
Reluctantly recruited into Amanda Waller's Task Force X, also known as the Suicide Squad, El Diablo initially resists using his powers. However, he ultimately embraces his abilities to protect his teammates and defeat the greater threat.
