Finn, designated FN-2187 during his service, is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He first appeared in *Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens*.

Originally a First Order stormtrooper, Finn was conscripted and trained from a young age, indoctrinated to serve the authoritarian regime. However, he experiences a crisis of conscience during his first combat mission, leading him to defect from the First Order.

This pivotal moment sets Finn on a path of self-discovery and rebellion, ultimately joining the Resistance in their fight against the First Order. He allies himself with Rey and Poe Dameron, becoming a crucial member of their team.
