Hush, whose real name is Thomas "Tommy" Elliot, is a villain from DC Comics, primarily associated with Batman. He first appeared in Batman #609 (January 2003).

Tommy was a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. However, fueled by resentment towards his wealthy parents and driven by a desire for independence, he engineered their deaths. His mother survived, but his plot revealed a dark and disturbed psyche.

As an adult, Tommy Elliot became a renowned surgeon. He resurfaced in Gotham City as "Hush," his face wrapped in bandages to conceal his identity. Hush orchestrated a complex scheme to psychologically torment Batman, manipulating other villains and exploiting Batman's past traumas.

Hush is a master strategist and manipulator. He possesses considerable medical knowledge and surgical skills. He has an intimate understanding of Batman's psychology, making him a dangerous and formidable adversary.
