Jigsaw, also known as Billy Russo, is a Marvel Comics supervillain, primarily an enemy of The Punisher.
His first appearance was in The Amazing Spider-Man #162 (November 1976).
Originally a handsome and skilled hitman, Russo's face becomes grotesquely disfigured after a confrontation with The Punisher. Frank Castle throws him through a glass window, leading to extensive scarring that requires numerous reconstructive surgeries.
The procedures further distort his features, leaving his face a jigsaw puzzle of scar tissue, hence the name Jigsaw. He often employs gangs and criminal organizations to further his goals of revenge against the Punisher.
