Balrog, originally named M. Bison in Japan, is a recurring character in the Street Fighter franchise. He debuted in Street Fighter II as one of the four Grand Masters fought before M. Bison himself.

Balrog is a heavyweight boxer, known for his aggressive, relentless rush-down fighting style. He relies heavily on powerful punches and headbutts, often overwhelming opponents with sheer force.

His backstory paints him as a corrupt and disgraced boxer, permanently banned from the sport due to his brutal tactics and unethical conduct. He then joined Shadaloo, serving as one of M. Bison's most loyal and physically imposing enforcers, often motivated by greed and the promise of wealth.

Balrog's personality is characterized by his arrogance, ruthlessness, and simple-mindedness. He's driven by a desire for money and power, rarely showing any remorse for his actions.
