Biography:
Brook, from the anime and manga series One Piece, is the musician of the Straw Hat Pirates. He is a long-limbed skeleton brought back to life by the powers of the Revive-Revive Fruit.
Centuries prior to joining the Straw Hats, Brook was a member of the Rumbar Pirates. He died in battle, but the Revive-Revive Fruit allowed his soul to return to the world. However, it took him so long to find his body that by the time he did, it had decayed into a skeleton. Despite this, his soul retained his musical talent and flamboyant personality.
He possesses swordsmanship skills derived from his lifetime as a pirate and swordsman and uses them, combined with his light skeleton to provide a fighting style unique from the rest of his crew. He is defined by his quirky sense of humor, fondness for asking women for a look at their panties (a gag trait), and his soulful violin playing, which serves as a source of strength and unity for the Straw Hats.
