Cheetah is a DC Comics villain, primarily known as one of Wonder Woman's most formidable adversaries. The character has taken on several iterations, but is mostly recognized as an evil anthropomorphic cheetah.
The original Cheetah, Priscilla Rich, first appeared in Wonder Woman #6 (1943). Later versions include Deborah Domaine and Barbara Ann Minerva. Minerva, an archaeologist, is perhaps the best-known incarnation of Cheetah.
Barbara Ann Minerva is tricked into partaking in an ancient ritual that grants her immortality and cheetah-like powers. These powers come with a dark side, imbuing her with a bloodlust and causing intense pain in her human form. She possesses enhanced strength, speed, and agility, along with razor-sharp claws and teeth.
