The Blue Overdrive Ranger is Dax Lo Fong, a character from the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive season. He is portrayed by actor Gareth Yuen.

Before becoming a Ranger, Dax was a talented but struggling stuntman, often taking on dangerous roles in movies. He possessed a strong understanding of action and physical performance, skills that would prove invaluable as a Ranger.

Dax was chosen by Andrew Hartford, the owner of Hartford Industries, to locate the Corona Aurora jewels and protect them from falling into the wrong hands. As the Blue Overdrive Ranger, Dax utilized the Drive Defender and Drive Lance as his primary weapons. He piloted the Drive Max Crane Zord and the Gyro Driver, contributing to the Overdrive Megazord.

Throughout the series, Dax faced personal challenges related to his self-confidence and finding his place beyond just being a stuntman. He eventually embraced his role as a hero and became a vital member of the Overdrive team, demonstrating bravery and loyalty.
