Yoda, a revered Jedi Master, first appeared in Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980). He is a diminutive, green-skinned being of an unknown species.
For centuries, Yoda served on the Jedi High Council, guiding the Jedi Order with his wisdom and profound understanding of the Force. He trained numerous Jedi Knights, including Count Dooku and Luke Skywalker, emphasizing patience, discipline, and the importance of inner peace.
During the Clone Wars, Yoda served as a General in the Grand Army of the Republic, leading clone troopers in battles against the Separatist droid armies. Following the rise of the Galactic Empire and the near-extinction of the Jedi Order, Yoda went into exile on the swamp planet Dagobah.
It was on Dagobah that he trained Luke Skywalker in the ways of the Force, preparing him to confront Darth Vader and the Emperor. Yoda eventually passed away on Dagobah, becoming one with the Force. He is remembered as one of the most powerful and wise Jedi Masters in galactic history.
