Biography:
Lena Oxton, callsign Tracer, is a fictional video game character appearing in Blizzard Entertainment's popular team-based shooter, Overwatch. Her first appearance was in the original game, Overwatch, released in 2016.
Formerly a test pilot in the Overwatch program, Lena was involved in an accident with a teleporting aircraft. This incident caused her to become "chronically disassociated" from time, effectively disappearing for periods.
Scientist Winston created a device called the chronal accelerator, which anchors Tracer to the present and allows her to control her own time. This device grants her the abilities to teleport short distances ("Blink"), recall her position in time ("Recall"), and manipulate the flow of time in her immediate area. She became a key member of the reformed Overwatch strike team.
