Biography:

Lightning McQueen is the main character of the Disney/Pixar Cars franchise, first appearing in the 2006 film, Cars.

He is a anthropomorphic stock car who begins as a self-centered rookie racer, obsessed with winning the Piston Cup. His journey takes him to Radiator Springs, where he learns the importance of friendship, teamwork, and humility.

In Cars 2, McQueen's adventures expand internationally, becoming entangled in a spy plot. He continues to evolve, maturing as a racer and a friend.
