Bo-Katan Kryze is a Mandalorian warrior and leader prominent in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. First appearing in the episode "Death Watch" (Season 2, Episode 11), Bo-Katan is initially a lieutenant in Death Watch, a violent Mandalorian splinter group seeking to restore the ancient warrior ways of Mandalore.
Initially loyal to Pre Vizsla, the leader of Death Watch, Bo-Katan becomes disillusioned with his alliance with Darth Maul. Following Vizsla's death, Bo-Katan refuses to accept Maul as Mandalore's ruler, leading a faction that opposes his control. Throughout The Clone Wars and later Star Wars Rebels, she fights for the liberation of Mandalore and the restoration of a legitimate Mandalorian government.
A skilled fighter and strategist, Bo-Katan is driven by a desire to protect her people and reclaim Mandalore's honor. Her path leads her to seek the Darksaber, an ancient Mandalorian weapon, and ultimately to claim the title of Mand'alor, leader of all Mandalorians. Her arc continues in The Mandalorian, exploring her ongoing quest to unite her people and restore Mandalore to its former glory.
