Havok, also known as Alex Summers, is a Marvel Comics character and mutant affiliated with the X-Men and, in some storylines, X-Force.
He first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #54 (March 1969). Havok possesses the mutant ability to absorb cosmic energy and convert it into plasma blasts that he can project from his body.
As Cyclops' younger brother, Alex has often struggled with living in the shadow of his brother's reputation. He has at various times been a leader of X-Factor, a member of the Starjammers, and more recently associated with incarnations of X-Force.
