Alexander "Alex" Summers, known as Havok, is a Marvel Comics character. He first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #54 (March 1969).
Havok is the younger brother of Scott Summers, Cyclops. His mutant power allows him to absorb ambient energy and release it as plasma blasts. Unlike Cyclops, Havok doesn't have to wear special glasses to control his powers, but he struggles to control the intensity and direction of the blasts.
He has been a member of the X-Men, X-Factor, and various other mutant teams. Havok's powers and personality have made him a complex and sometimes conflicted character, often struggling to emerge from his brother's shadow.
