God Mars is the titular giant robot from the anime series *Six God Combination God Mars*, which first aired in 1981. The robot is formed by the combination of six smaller robots, each representing a different god or mythological figure.
The series centers around Takeru Myojin, a young man with psychic powers who is destined to pilot God Mars and protect Earth from alien invaders. Takeru was sent to Earth as a baby to destroy the planet, but was raised by humans and developed a strong sense of justice.
