Temple Guard 1, also known by other names like Hovitos Warrior or simply Hovitos Guard, is a minor character from the opening scene of the 1981 film, Raiders of the Lost Ark.

He is one of the indigenous Hovitos tribesmen tasked with guarding the entrance to the booby-trapped temple in Peru. He is portrayed as a fearsome warrior, armed with a bow and arrow. The character's main purpose is to be the first obstacle that Indiana Jones encounters within the temple after dispatching Barranca outside.
