Satipo is a fictional character appearing in the opening sequence of the 1981 film, Raiders of the Lost Ark.
He is a Peruvian guide hired by Indiana Jones to navigate the treacherous temple leading to the Golden Idol.
Satipo is portrayed as greedy and fearful. He assists Jones in overcoming various booby traps, but ultimately betrays him by attempting to steal the idol after Jones successfully retrieves it.
