Indiana Jones

Jock Lindsey is a supporting character in the Indiana Jones franchise, first appearing in the 1981 film, Raiders of the Lost Ark.

He is portrayed as a pilot and owner of a small seaplane operation in northern Peru. Jock is initially introduced as a somewhat reluctant accomplice, flying Indiana Jones and his guide, Barranca, into the Peruvian jungle to reach the location of a rumored idol.

A skilled aviator, Jock proves instrumental in saving Indiana Jones from a harrowing escape from the Hovitos tribe, narrowly avoiding their poisoned darts. This narrow escape solidifies their partnership, although Jock prefers to keep his distance from Indy's more dangerous adventures.

Although only a brief appearance, Jock and his pet snake, Reggie, left a memorable impression, becoming a fan favorite. The character's popularity led to the establishment of "Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar" at Disney Springs in Walt Disney World, adding further depth to his established persona with a playful backstory.
