Cheryl Blossom is a fictional character primarily known for her appearances in the CW's television series Riverdale, which is loosely based on the Archie Comics universe. The character also appears in the spin off series, Katy Keene.
On Riverdale, Cheryl is portrayed as the wealthy and often manipulative head cheerleader of Riverdale High. Her persona is built around a sharp wit, striking red hair, and a penchant for drama. She initially struggles with the death of her twin brother, Jason, which sets in motion many of the early storylines.
Throughout the series, Cheryl's character develops significantly. She confronts and overcomes family trauma, including a complex and abusive relationship with her mother, Penelope.
