Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick is a fictional character in the animated television series South Park. He first appeared in the show's debut on August 13, 1997.

Kenny is one of the central group of four boys, along with Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Eric Cartman. He is known for his muffled speech, caused by his orange parka hood, and his frequent, often gruesome deaths which he recovers from in subsequent episodes, usually without explanation or acknowledgement from the other characters.

Hailing from a poverty-stricken family, Kenny's family life is often depicted as chaotic and dysfunctional. Despite his circumstances, Kenny displays a surprising amount of resourcefulness and a hidden layer of morality, especially in moments where he stands up for others or acts selflessly.

Kenny's escapades often involve comedic takes on adult themes, contrasting with his youthful naivete. His mysterious ability to resurrect after death became a running gag and a key element of his character's unique identity within the series.
