Darth Stryfe is a powerful Dark Lord of the Sith in the Star Wars Legends continuity, a clone of the time-traveling mutant Cable from Marvel Comics. He first appeared in The New Mutants #87 (March 1990).
Created by Apocalypse, Stryfe was intended to be his host body. However, he was infected with a techno-organic virus and sent to the future for a cure. Due to temporal anomalies, he arrived before Cable, leading to a twisted version of his intended destiny.
Raised by the Askani, Stryfe was revealed to be a villain. He formed the Mutant Liberation Front and waged war against humanity and mutants alike. Later, he turned to the dark side of the Force, becoming Darth Stryfe. He used his powers to cause chaos and destruction.
