The Indigo Tribe Warrior, often referred to as Indigo-1, is a key figure in the DC Comics universe. Her true identity before becoming an Indigo Lantern is largely unknown; however, she was a notorious criminal responsible for heinous acts on her home planet.

Abin Sur, while still a Green Lantern, foresaw the coming of the Blackest Night and sought to create corps powered by different emotions to combat the threat. He discovered the Indigo light of compassion and located Indigo-1, who was initially unrepentant for her crimes. The indigo ring forcibly imbued her with compassion, instantly reforming her and binding her to the Indigo Tribe.

As Indigo-1, she serves as the leader and often the first contact with other Lantern Corps. Her ring allows her to channel the compassion of others, project constructs, and teleport great distances. It also emulates the powers of other Lantern Corps near her, making her a versatile and formidable warrior. Due to the nature of her ring's forced compassion, her true personality is suppressed, making her actions and motivations sometimes ambiguous.
