Angelica Teach is a skilled pirate and the daughter of the infamous Captain Blackbeard in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. She first appears in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

Angelica, portrayed by Penélope Cruz, is depicted as cunning, resourceful, and fiercely loyal to her father. She shares a complicated history with Captain Jack Sparrow, claiming he seduced and then abandoned her with plans to enter a convent.

Her primary motivation in On Stranger Tides is to save her father from a prophecy foretelling his death. She initially uses Jack Sparrow to locate the Fountain of Youth, believing its waters can extend Blackbeard's life. However, her allegiances and true intentions remain ambiguous throughout the film.

Despite her pirate upbringing, Angelica possesses a strong sense of morality. This internal conflict, coupled with her relationship with Jack Sparrow, adds depth to her character. She ultimately chooses to sacrifice herself, receiving the Fountain's rejuvenating waters after Blackbeard intercepts them, saving his life.
