The Kraang are a recurring villainous race in various iterations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) franchise. They are typically depicted as a hive-minded alien species from Dimension X.
In the 2012 TMNT animated series, the primary antagonist is Kraang Subprime (often referred to simply as "Kraang"). He is the leader of a Kraang invasion force attempting to conquer Earth. His first appearance is in the first episode of the 2012 TV Show, "Rise of the Turtles, Part 1."
The Kraang are characterized by their pink, brain-like appearance and often reside within robotic exosuits. Their primary goal is usually to terraform Earth into a more habitable environment for their kind, eliminating the human population in the process.
