Banshee is a Marvel Comics character, specifically one of the Horsemen of Death. This version of Banshee first appeared in Uncanny X-Force #19 (2012).
Sean Cassidy, the original Banshee, was resurrected and transformed into a Horseman of Death by the Apocalypse Twins. He was brainwashed and given enhanced powers, including the ability to generate a deathly sonic scream.
As a Horseman, Banshee served the Apocalypse Twins and battled against X-Force. He was eventually freed from their control, but the experience left him traumatized and struggling to regain his former self.
