Doreen Green, better known as Squirrel Girl, is a Marvel Comics superheroine. Created by Steve Ditko and Will Murray, she first appeared in 1992's Marvel Super-Heroes vol. 2, #8.
Doreen possesses the mutant ability to communicate with and command squirrels. She also has squirrel-like physical features, including a prehensile tail and large teeth. While often underestimated, she has an impressive track record of defeating powerful villains, frequently through unconventional and humorous methods, leveraging her squirrel army and surprising her opponents.
