Georges Batroc, better known as Batroc the Leaper, is a mercenary and master of savate (French kickboxing) in the Marvel Universe. A French national, he is a highly skilled combatant, renowned for his agility and acrobatic prowess rather than superhuman abilities. He frequently clashes with Captain America.
Batroc initially served in the French Foreign Legion. His past is shrouded in some mystery, but his fighting skills quickly propelled him into the world of mercenary work. He has led his own team, Batroc's Brigade, comprised of various skilled fighters, often hired to commit acts of sabotage or theft.
While lacking superpowers, Batroc compensates with rigorous training, peak human conditioning, and a fearless demeanor.
