Jack Cooper is a central figure in the *Titanfall* universe, first appearing in *Titanfall 2* (2016). Initially a Rifleman Third Class in the Frontier Militia, specifically assigned to the SRS (Special Recon Squadron), Cooper dreams of becoming a Pilot.
Under the tutelage of Captain Tai Lastimosa, a highly skilled Pilot, Cooper receives unofficial training in advanced Pilot techniques.
Circumstances thrust Cooper into the role of Pilot when Lastimosa is killed in action. He then inherits Lastimosa's Titan, BT-7274, forming a strong bond with the AI-controlled war machine. Together, Cooper and BT embark on a dangerous mission to stop the IMC (Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation) and their devastating weapon.
